Trancefeld is Philipp Dransfeld born on 7.4.1975 in Bielefeld and in grew up there. After playing guitar in rockbands in the early nineties he found his love for trance in 1994. By buying an atari-computer and the first synthesizer he startet to produce electronic music in a bedroom-studio and did this for a long time as a hobby.
In 1996 he moved to cologne to learn audio-engeneering and work in this job. With the first release as trancefeld in 2001 and the following releases on sunset, noom, plastik park, plusquam, manta and millenium he became a well known name for a driving, progressive sound, that can be heard since the beginning of 2002 also as a live-act.
